Workshop 2: New Tools for Communicating Hope (Intro / Beginner Level)

Social Media Track

Social media is more than just a different platform for communications – it’s a different type of messaging. In the past, communications depended largely on press releases, event flyers, pamphleting and other one-way media.  Now communication happens in real time and constituents want to be engaged in a two-way dialogue, not just read your views and information.

This workshop introduces the most common social networking tools, as well as discussing how each engages differently (and similarly) from traditional communications tools.
