Workshop 4: Framing for Change: Case Studies of Successful Campaigns (Beginner to Intermediate Levels)

Communications 101 Track

We will explore the basics of developing and framing effective messages in the context of a social justice campaign.  Using recent case studies, we will examine effective ways of framing or telling your stories that would build awareness on your issue, shift public opinion, challenge the dominant frame, mobilize supporters, and ultimately lead to positive policy or attitudinal change.
